A mattress must be as comfortable as possible to ensure restful sleep. The key to achieving this is a sponge of the right quality, which should have several characteristics. But which ones exactly? Continue reading to discover the details.

Foams used in the production of mattresses

In this case, different types of sponges can be used, but not all of them work equally well. Type R foam is a perfect product for the production of mattresses, which is also included in our product range. We offer it in as many as 23 variants of density and various widths, which provides great design possibilities, but also application, not only for mattresses. It can also be used for the production of sports equipment, rehabilitation moulds, mats, protection of goods in transport and many other elements.

Advantages of rebound polyurethane foam

Above all, the foundation of R foam is its non-uniform cell structure. This feature produces its excellent body support parameters, and at the same time high comfort of use. Another advantage is good flexibility and elasticity, which also make mattresses made of this material very comfortable to use. It is also worth mentioning that type R foam provides durability and longevity. It is estimated that on average these parameters can be up to 40% higher than in many other types of sponges. Thus, purchasing a mattress made of such foam is simply a good investment, especially for people who care about long-term durability and comfort. All this without having to overpay, because such foam is highly economical to purchase.

As you can see, the ideal solution for the production of mattresses is type R foam, which can also be described as a sponge. Our assortment includes this type of foam. The other foams in our assortment are Type PUR/PIR and Type T (and the latter can also be used for mattresses).
